Tuscaloosa Probate, Estate papers, 1800's-1930's were filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, now FamilySearch, in 1989. 43 microfilm reels were produced. These records were sent to the Alabama Department of Archives and History for filming and were returned to the county in 2017. All the films have been digitized. Judge Rob Robertson signed the expanded use agreement allowing these probate records to be seen on the FamilySearch website.
